Biden designó a Rachel Levine, primera funcionaria federal transgénero, como vicesecretaria de Salud y Servicios Humanos . Actualmente, Levine es secretaria de Salud de Pensilvania y ha liderado los esfuerzos contra el covid-19 en ese estado.
